Every car arrives with its own story. In April, there were plenty of mysteries and classics – here are the most memorable ones.
BMW X5 xDrive30D (2019)
The dashboard clock periodically resets to 2033. The owner was bewildered, and so were we, but only for a moment. Diagnostics, localization, solution. Time travel is canceled.
VW Passat (2017)
Regeneration started every 50–70 km – abnormally frequent. We checked injectors, differential pressure sensor, and regeneration quality. Found the cause, the owner breathed a sigh of relief.
Mercedes E250 BlueTec (2017)
A non-original DPF was installed – no one could register it in the system. It came to us after several attempts at other workshops. We sorted it out, coded it, and everything works.
Volvo V60 (2019)
Shaking display, ABS light on, increased oil consumption – three problems at once. Full diagnostics, prioritized, and developed a repair plan.
Audi A4 (2009)
It sits for a day – won't start. Vibration when cold. We checked spark plugs, fuel system, sensors. Found the culprit, now it starts on the first try.
Mercedes GLK 320 (2009)
Blue smoke at idle – first suspicion was the turbo. We checked, measured, and it turned out to be another problem. The client left with peace of mind.
REWORK AND RESTORATION
We fix consequences of botched work, restore factory calibrations, and bring cars back to order. Each case is a unique story.
BMW 535 (2005)
Check Engine light on after a tune from another workshop. The calibration was clearly messed up – we restored the original, checked adaptations. The engine runs as intended again.
Audi A3 (2008)
Tune of unknown origin – idle RPM 5360 instead of 2400–2600. Someone calibrated with enthusiasm. We restored normal values, the car calmed down.
VW Crafter (2014)
Restoring DPF, EGR, and lambda sensor operation – full return to factory settings. MOT preparation went smoothly.
VW Transporter (2015)
DPF enabled, AdBlue already removed – we need to bring everything to a consistent state. Arranged with the client, tidied up, everything works correctly.
ECU REPLACEMENT, KEYS AND AIRBAG
Replacing and pairing control units, working with immobilizers, resetting airbag modules – tasks that demand precision and experience.
Hyundai Genesis (2011)
Someone resoldered the EPROM in the ECU – the car stopped starting. We replaced the control unit, coded it, and paired it with the immobilizer. It started on the first try.
Mercedes SL (2001)
Cloning of the gear selector module – the original was faulty, replaced with full pairing to the car. Works like factory.
VW Golf (2017)
Airbag module replacement – deployed in an accident. New module, programming, error reset. System fully restored.
Nissan Juke (2017)
Similar situation – airbag module replacement after deployment. Pairing, calibration, checking all sensors. All clear, no errors.
Ford Mondeo (2017)
Engine control unit replacement – data transfer, pairing to the car, checking all systems. Drove off as if nothing happened.
Chrysler Grand Voyager (2010)
Control unit failed – replaced with an identical one, adapted, immobilizer paired. The old boy is back on the road.
VOLVO INSTRUMENT CLUSTERS – A FAMILIAR AILMENT
Volvo has a characteristic problem – instrument clusters eventually start acting up: displays go blank, readings disappear, artifacts appear. In April, we fixed a couple of these.
Volvo XC90 (2002)
A classic – the instrument cluster display periodically goes blank. Circuit board level repair, soldering restoration. The panel works stably again.
Volvo V70 (2005)
The display completely went blank – no readings, no backlight. Board repair, component replacement, calibration. The owner is happy, the instrument cluster is like new.
SMOKE TEST – MOT SEASON
Spring is the peak for opacity tests before CSDD. We measure exhaust smoke opacity so you can confidently pass your vehicle inspection. Our clients include a wide range of brands.
Among the "others" – Mitsubishi, Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Fiat, Land Rover, Chrysler, and more. If your diesel smokes – come for a test, and we'll advise you.
DPF AND INTAKE MANIFOLD CLEANING
DPF flushing and intake manifold cleaning – we extend the life of parts that are usually just replaced. And we even had a tractor drop by.

Yes, you read that right – Claas Arion 410 is a tractor. Intake manifolds get clogged not only in passenger cars. We cleaned it up and sent it back to the field.
