About the remap
Stage 1 optimization for the Alfa Romeo 159 2.2 JTS 185hp increases power from 185 to 197 hp (+12 hp, +6%). Naturally aspirated petrol engines have limited scope for power gains, but optimizing ignition and fueling maps delivers a smoother power delivery, more responsive throttle, and a noticeably more pleasant driving experience.
The remap is performed on the Bosch MED7.6.1 ECU (engine code 939A5000) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2, ByteShooter Toolbox, CMD CMDFlash and other professional tools. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
Every vehicle undergoes full diagnostics before and after the remap. We keep a backup of the original ECU calibration and guarantee the option to revert to stock settings at any time. JVK PRO is a professional chip tuning service in Riga with 16 years of experience.
