About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the BMW 5 serie M5 Competition 575hp increases power from 575 to 683 hp (+108 hp, +19%) and torque from 680 to 850 Nm. Turbocharged petrol engines respond exceptionally well to ECU optimization – adjusting ignition timing, boost pressure, and fueling maps unlocks the hidden potential built in by the manufacturer.
The remap is performed on the Bosch MEVD17.2.8 ECU (engine code S63B44B) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use CMD CMDFlash, MagicMotorsport Flex. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
