About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the Opel Combo 2.0 CDTi 135hp increases power from 135 to 201 hp (+66 hp, +49%) and torque from 320 to 420 Nm. Turbocharged diesel engines offer the greatest chip tuning potential – optimizing boost pressure and injection maps delivers significant gains in both power and torque from low RPM.
The remap is performed on the Bosch EDC16C39 ECU (engine code B16DTH) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Autotuner Autotuner. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
Under normal driving conditions, chip tuning a turbocharged diesel can reduce fuel consumption – in Eco mode, savings reach up to 0.7 l/100 km thanks to more efficient turbo operation and optimized injection.
