Stage 1 chip tuning for the BMW X1 sDrive16d 116hp increases power from 116 to 151 hp (+35 hp, +30%) and torque from 270 to 330 Nm. Turbocharged diesel engines offer the greatest chip tuning potential – optimizing boost pressure and injection maps delivers significant gains in both power and torque from low RPM.
The remap is performed on the Bosch MD1CP002 ECU (engine code B37C15U0) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2, Autotuner Autotuner. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
