About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the Ford C-Max 1.6 EcoBoost 182hp increases power from 182 to 208 hp (+26 hp, +14%) and torque from 240 to 320 Nm. Turbocharged petrol engines respond exceptionally well to ECU optimization – adjusting ignition timing, boost pressure, and fueling maps unlocks the hidden potential built in by the manufacturer.
The remap is performed on the Bosch MED17.0 ECU (engine code JTDB) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2, Dimsport New Genius. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
