About the remap
Stage 1 optimization for the Mazda CX-5 2.5 SkyActiv-G 192hp increases power from 192 to 206 hp (+14 hp, +7%). Naturally aspirated petrol engines have limited scope for power gains, but optimizing ignition and fueling maps delivers a smoother power delivery, more responsive throttle, and a noticeably more pleasant driving experience.
The remap is performed on the Denso SH CRPT3 ECU (engine code PYY1) using the Bench/Boot method with direct ECU connection. We use MagicMotorsport Flex. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
