About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the Mini Roadster 1.6T 184hp increases power from 184 to 212 hp (+28 hp, +15%) and torque from 260 to 340 Nm. Turbocharged petrol engines respond exceptionally well to ECU optimization – adjusting ignition timing, boost pressure, and fueling maps unlocks the hidden potential built in by the manufacturer.
The remap is performed on the Bosch MEVD17.2.2 ECU (engine code N18B16A) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Autotuner Autotuner, CMD CMDFlash, Dimsport New Genius. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
