About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the Nissan NP300 2.5 DCi 129hp increases power from 129 to 156 hp (+27 hp, +21%) and torque from 300 to 360 Nm. Turbocharged diesel engines offer the greatest chip tuning potential – optimizing boost pressure and injection maps delivers significant gains in both power and torque from low RPM.
The remap is performed on the Bosch EDC17C45 ECU (engine code YD25DDTi) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2, Dimsport New Genius. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
Under normal driving conditions, chip tuning a turbocharged diesel can reduce fuel consumption – in Eco mode, savings reach up to 0.9 l/100 km thanks to more efficient turbo operation and optimized injection.
