About the remap
Stage 1 optimization for the Renault Espace 1.8 TCe 225hp increases power from 225 to 252 hp (+27 hp, +12%). Naturally aspirated petrol engines have limited scope for power gains, but optimizing ignition and fueling maps delivers a smoother power delivery, more responsive throttle, and a noticeably more pleasant driving experience.
The remap is performed on the Hitachi BED434 ECU (engine code M5P401) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Autotuner Autotuner. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
