About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the Renault Talisman 1.8 TCe 225hp increases power from 225 to 261 hp (+36 hp, +16%) and torque from 300 to 400 Nm. Turbocharged petrol engines respond exceptionally well to ECU optimization – adjusting ignition timing, boost pressure, and fueling maps unlocks the hidden potential built in by the manufacturer.
The remap is performed on the Hitachi BED501 ECU (engine code M5P) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Autotuner Autotuner. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
