About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the Saab 9-3 2.8 V6 Turbo 280hp increases power from 280 to 311 hp (+31 hp, +11%) and torque from 400 to 470 Nm. Turbocharged petrol engines respond exceptionally well to ECU optimization – adjusting ignition timing, boost pressure, and fueling maps unlocks the hidden potential built in by the manufacturer.
The remap is performed on the Bosch ME9.6.1 ECU (engine code B248R) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2, CMD CMDFlash, Dimsport New Genius. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
