About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the Saab 9-5 2.8 Turbo 300hp increases power from 300 to 343 hp (+43 hp, +14%) and torque from 400 to 470 Nm. Turbocharged petrol engines respond exceptionally well to ECU optimization – adjusting ignition timing, boost pressure, and fueling maps unlocks the hidden potential built in by the manufacturer.
The remap is performed on the Bosch ME9.6.1 ECU (engine code A20NER) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
