About the remap

Stage 1 chip tuning for the Scania trucks R-Serie 500 increases power from 500 to 598 hp (+98 hp, +20%) and torque from 2400 to 2850 Nm. Turbocharged diesel engines offer the greatest chip tuning potential – optimizing boost pressure and injection maps delivers significant gains in both power and torque from low RPM.

The remap is performed on the Motorola EMS S6 ECU via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2, CMD CMDFlash, Dimsport New Genius. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.

In addition to Stage 1, we offer the following services for the Scania trucks R-Serie 500: EGR valve diagnostics. All work is performed using professional equipment.

If desired, the Scania trucks R-Serie 500 can be upgraded to Stage 2 – a deeper optimization delivering even greater power and torque gains. Stage 2 involves advanced ECU calibration taking into account exhaust system and intercooler modifications. Contact us for a free consultation to evaluate Stage 2 potential for your specific vehicle.

Every vehicle undergoes full diagnostics before and after the remap. We keep a backup of the original ECU calibration and guarantee the option to revert to stock settings at any time. JVK PRO is a professional chip tuning service in Riga with 16 years of experience.
