About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the Seat Leon 2.0 TDI 184hp increases power from 184 to 228 hp (+44 hp, +24%) and torque from 380 to 460 Nm. Turbocharged diesel engines offer the greatest chip tuning potential – optimizing boost pressure and injection maps delivers significant gains in both power and torque from low RPM.
The remap is performed on the Bosch EDC17C74 ECU (engine code CUNA /CUPA) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use CMD CMDFlash, MagicMotorsport Flex. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
Under normal driving conditions, chip tuning a turbocharged diesel can reduce fuel consumption – in Eco mode, savings reach up to 0.7 l/100 km thanks to more efficient turbo operation and optimized injection.
