About the remap
Stage 1 chip tuning for the BMW X5 2.5D 218hp increases power from 218 to 271 hp (+53 hp, +24%) and torque from 450 to 500 Nm. Turbocharged diesel engines offer the greatest chip tuning potential – optimizing boost pressure and injection maps delivers significant gains in both power and torque from low RPM.
The remap is performed on the Bosch EDC17C56 ECU (engine code B47D20B) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2, Autotuner Autotuner, ByteShooter Toolbox and other professional tools. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
Under normal driving conditions, chip tuning a turbocharged diesel can reduce fuel consumption – in Eco mode, savings reach up to 0.9 l/100 km thanks to more efficient turbo operation and optimized injection.
In addition to Stage 1, we offer the following services for the BMW X5 2.5D 218hp: DPF diagnostics and maintenance, AdBlue/SCR system solutions, EGR valve diagnostics, XHP gearbox tuning, BMW coding. All work is performed using professional equipment.
If desired, the BMW X5 2.5D 218hp can be upgraded to Stage 2 – a deeper optimization delivering even greater power and torque gains. Stage 2 involves advanced ECU calibration taking into account exhaust system and intercooler modifications. Contact us for a free consultation to evaluate Stage 2 potential for your specific vehicle.
Every vehicle undergoes full diagnostics before and after the remap. We keep a backup of the original ECU calibration and guarantee the option to revert to stock settings at any time. JVK PRO is a professional chip tuning service in Riga with 16 years of experience.
