About the remap
Stage 1 optimization for the BMW X5 4.4i 320hp increases power from 320 to 338 hp (+18 hp, +6%). Naturally aspirated petrol engines have limited scope for power gains, but optimizing ignition and fueling maps delivers a smoother power delivery, more responsive throttle, and a noticeably more pleasant driving experience.
The remap is performed on the Bosch ME9.2 ECU (engine code 448S2) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
