About the remap
Stage 1 optimization for the Renault Talisman 1.6 TCe 200hp increases power from 200 to 228 hp (+28 hp, +14%). Naturally aspirated petrol engines have limited scope for power gains, but optimizing ignition and fueling maps delivers a smoother power delivery, more responsive throttle, and a noticeably more pleasant driving experience.
The remap is performed on the Hitachi BED434 ECU (engine code M5M) via the OBD2 diagnostic port – no ECU removal required. We use Alientech KESSv2, Autotuner Autotuner. Results are verified with a dynamometer measurement.
